GLP-1 prices online vary a lot, and the advertised number is not always what you pay. Before you sign up anywhere, ask:
- Is the first month the real price? Some programs show an introductory price that rises in month two or three.
- Does the price change with the dose? Doses usually go up over time. Ask whether higher doses cost more.
- Are provider visits extra? Check for a separate membership, consultation or follow-up fee.
- Are labs included? Some programs bill labs separately.
- What happens if you are not prescribed? Look for a clear refund policy.
- Is the medication compounded or FDA-approved? Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. Know what you are paying for.

Does insurance cover GLP-1 medicine?
Coverage for weight-management medicines depends on your plan, and many plans do not cover them. Living+ is self-pay and does not bill insurance, so you know your monthly price up front.
About compounded medication. Some medications prescribed through Living+ are compounded. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are sold. They are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for one patient, on a prescription. They are not generic versions of any brand-name medicine. A compounded preparation is prescribed only when your provider decides an FDA-approved product is not clinically suitable for you, and your provider records the reason in your chart.
GLP-1 treatment through Living+ is available in every state except Louisiana.
